Q1: How do I sign up?A1: First, look at the schedule on-line and determine which event will be your first. Then call (727) 393-8531 and talk to Mary or Frank Magee, preferrably Mary. She is nice and speaks coherently.
Q2: How much does it cost to play? A2: Daily 1-day event fees are $85 and 2-day events are $360, which includes course costs and an opportunity to qualify on a daily basis for the subsequent NEXT! event. {NEXT! 1-days cost $150, 2-days cost $360 and the Liberty series 2-day events are $450.}
Q3: How much can I win?A3: Not much, most players look forward to playing in the NEXT! or LIBERTY SERIES to win decent money. Moonlight is designed for the developing player to keep expenses down while training. Typically, one-day purses pay a $200-300 first place and pay about 25% of the field with last place winning their entry fee amount. Two-day purses can pay $2000-$3000 first and 33%.
Q4: How many players does Moonlight get on average?A4: In-season Moonlight averages about 40-60, six days/week. Off-season, the average is about 22, five days/week.
Q5: When does the tour season begin and end?A5: It began September 13, 1992 and ends when Frank reaches age 90 (Year 2045), allowing a few short breaks in the schedule for Christmas and about two separate holiday weeks in the summer.
Q6: How much is the Tour membership fee? How long does it last?A6: $150 for twelve months.
Q7: Are credit cards acceptable for payment?A7: Not at this time, payment must be by cash/traveler's checks for the player's first three events, then by personal checks or cash.
Q8: Can I bring a caddie, wife or other spectator?A8: Yes, but the final answer is up to the Host golf club. So, contact the club to be sure. But our experience is that all of our clubs are very friendly toward caddies/spectators. Most times allowance for an extra golf cart in the group is not feasible. So, sometimes the guest must walk the course or portions of it.
Q9: How can I get the tour schedule?A9: Go to the Front Page or Tour Info section of the www.moonlightgolf.com web site and then go to SCHEDULE. Hit your PRINT key. Or call (727) 393-8531 and ask Mary to send you a schedule.

Q16: Can I get a practice round? If so, what will it cost?A16: Most clubs are nice about practice rounds and some might give our players a discount. But the tour has no formal agreement with the Hosts regarding player practice rounds. It is always smart to call first and get a cost and a name of the staff person quoting.
